WELCOME TO THE 30th ANNUAL ADIDAS / BERNIE WARD LABOR DAY SHOOTOUT
(Formerly the FARMINGTON BANK LABOR DAY SHOOTOUT)
 
The Adidas/ Bernie Ward Shootout will be held from Saturday,  August 30th through Sunday, August 31st in Farmington CT as we are extending an open invitation for teams to sign up for our special tournament. This fall, more than 2000 kids are expected to participate in ages U9 through U14 for boys and girls with teams competing at the travel and premier level. Last year we hosted teams from all over the east coast and Canada and would welcome you to join us. 
 
The Farmington Soccer Club takes great pride in being able to offer a tournament noted for its excellence not only in soccer talent but one that has the best interest of all teams in mind. We can promise an organized, exciting tournament that will help you prepare for the upcoming season. Plan to join us for a traditional New England fall weekend at some of the greatest facilities in the state!

MEDICAL RELEASE FORM

All Participants must complete the above medical release form and bring it with you to register your team.

Thomas J Quirk Park, Tunxis Mead Fields
  80 Tunxis Meade Road, Farmington, CT
 
10 grass soccer fields at the primary location and the new fields at FSA (Farmington Sports Arena) which includes, 1 grass and 3 turf fields

Premier & Travel teams
Suitable Competition for all teams
 
Application Information:
Tournament entry fee:
 
U9, U10 & U11 playing small sided games (8 v 8)  $525.00
 
U12, U13 & U14 playing full sided games (11 v 11)  $550.00

- Registration Deadline is August 7th. - Payment will be accepted by credit card online or by check mailed WITHIN 1 WEEK of application to the tournament director listed at the bottom of this page.
 
- No team will be scheduled without full payment
 
- Any team not accepted will be notified by e-mail and the tournament fee will be refunded.
 
- Only a limited number of teams will be accepted.
 
Team Selection:
Teamís accepted and bracketing into the tournament will be based on past playing history, record and if necessary feedback from your coach. We welcome clubs who are interested in bringing multiple teams to participate in the event.
 
Late entries will be placed on a space availability basis.

Other Facts:
The Adidas/ Bernie Ward has been rated one of the top soccer tournaments for girls & boys in the state of Connecticut.
 
Each team will play a minimum of 3 games
 
A Champion will be crowned in each division for U11 teams and older. U9 & U10 teams will receive participation awards.
 
Individual medallions or trophies will be awarded to each player for Championship or Finalist teams
 
USSF certified referees
 
Communication leading up to the event will be conducted via email, the team coach or manager who registers the team needs to have easy access to email during the tournament since results will be posted throughout the day on Got Soccer's web site.
 
The Adidas/ Bernie Ward Shootout is an unrestricted tournament sanctioned by the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association. All US Youth State Associations member teams, US Club Soccer Teams, and other national affiliate teams are welcome to apply.
 
Check-in and registration will be held on August 29th at Farmington Sports Arena (FSA), Executive Drive, Farmington, CT from 6:00 to 8:00.
 
If you are traveling out from out of state and need to make special arrangements to register your team, please contact the tournament director below.
 
All players participating in the Farmington Shootout must have a valid 2014-2015 player pass and medical release.
Teams must follow the rules and procedures for guest playing as stated in FIFA & their own home state association or national affiliate.
