From I-84 West

Take exit 39 (Farmington, Route 4). Follow Route 4 to the intersection of Route 10 (Main Street). On the right is the Farmington Country Club, turn left onto Route 10. Follow Route 10, at the second light turn right onto Meadow Road**. At the fork in the road stay to the right, go approximately 2/10 of a mile and the entrance to Tunxis Mead will be on the right.

 

** If Meadow Road in Farmington is closed due to flooding of the Farmington River follow this detour. Continue on Route 10 (Main Street) to the Silo Restaurant on your right. Take right onto Scott Swamp Road. Go to next traffic light and turn left onto Route 6 heading West. Take a right at 2nd light onto New Britain Ave and turn right at 2nd stop sign entrance to park will be on your left.

 

Take exit 37 (Fienemann Road). At the end of the ramp take a left. At the second light (intersection of Route 6) turn left onto Route 6. Follow Route 6 approximately 2 ½ miles. Take a right on New Britain Avenue. At the second stop sign turn right and follow approximately 2/10 of a mile. Entrance to Tunxis Mead will be on the left.
