A number of parents have asked to have their child participate in FSC travel soccer earlier and earlier, for fear of their child being left behind. Unfortunately, our district does not currently have a league for pure u8 teams to play.

In order to address some of these concerns, FSC will allow older u8 players to attended u9 tryouts. The u8 eligibility dates each year will be listed in the registration for tryouts age matrix. The goal is to form two boys and two girls u8/u9 teams every year.

Please note that if these new U8 player are selected to a combined U8/U9 age group team, they would repeat U09 for the following season, and will thereafter play with their appropriate age group.
